Welcome to the home of soldier and doctor, Jon R Kerstetter. “Doc” has practiced emergency and international medicine in regions of war and natural disaster, including the wars in Rwanda, Bosnia, Kosovo, and Iraq. He completed three tours of duty as a combat physician and flight surgeon in the war in Iraq.

“Doc” is currently writing a memoir of his expriences in Iraq and with stroke recovery. Dr. Kerstetter will have two chapters from his memoir published in the spring of 2012, in the River Teeth Journal of Nonfiction. Make sure to check out the writing page for more exciting details.
